We must be intentional about the next generation education!
In the journey towards sustainable development, investing in young people’s education, training, and employment is not just a goal — it is a necessity. Sustainable Development Goal 8 (SDG 8) highlights the importance of promoting youth employment, education, and training to foster inclusive and sustainable economic growth. By 2020, the aim was to substantially reduce the proportion of youth not in employment, education, or training. While progress has been made, much work remains to be done.
“Empowering Youth Through Education” is a powerful motto that highlights the transformative impact of knowledge and learning. Education has the potential to:
- Break down barriers and open doors to new opportunities.
- Foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
- Promote personal growth, self-awareness, and confidence.
- Bridge social and economic divides.
- Empower individuals to make informed decisions and drive positive change.
