“The Rewarder: God’s Promise of Recognition in This Life and Eternity” Introduction As Christians, we serve and labor for the advancement of God’s Kingdom, often without expecting immediate recognition or reward. However, Scripture promises that our efforts will be rewarded, both in this life and eternity. Meet the Rewarder, God Himself, who acknowledges and honors our faithfulness.

Biblical Foundations 1. Matthew 10:42: “And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.” 2. Colossians 3:23-24: “Whatever you do, do it heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward.” 3. Hebrews 6:10: “God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them.” Rewards in This Life God rewards His people in various ways, including: 1. Spiritual Growth: Deeper faith, peace, and joy. 2. Divine Provision: Meeting physical and financial needs. 3. Influence: Opportunities to impact others for Christ. 4. Fulfillment: Sense of purpose and satisfaction. 5. Health and Wellness: Physical and emotional well-being. Eternal Rewards In eternity, God promises: 1. Crown of Righteousness: For those who have lived righteously (2 Timothy 4:8). 2. Crown of Life: For those who have endured trials (James 1:12). 3. Crown of Glory: For faithful servants (1 Peter 5:4). 4. Inheritance: A share in God’s Kingdom (Colossians 3:24).

Characteristics of the Rewarder 1. Faithful: God keeps His promises. 2. Just: Rewards are based on His righteous standards. 3. Generous: His rewards exceed our expectations. 4. Personal: God recognizes individual efforts. Conclusion As we labor for the Kingdom, remember that God, the Rewarder, sees and acknowledges our efforts. His rewards in this life and eternity motivate us to persevere, knowing our work is not in vain. Reflection Question What motivates you to serve God and advance His Kingdom?
